every year Kirklees Museums and galleries organises a major event to celebrate Yorkshire Day on 2 August. Our event takes place at Oakwell Hall, Birstall, and consists of a whole range of activities relating to all aspects of Yorkshire life.

With Jowett being such an icon of the industrial history of this region we were wondering if any of your members would be interested in being involved in this year's celebration. Having a presence by your organisation would certainly make the day even more memorable for the public.

I have tried to email the local Jowett Club officer but the email was rejected so I would be grateful if you could pass this on to whomever you think might be most interested.
