Are these Jowett??

I was given a few 'New Old Stock' Jowett bits a couple of days ago, and I can identify the pre-war items, but with them came the two "thingys" that you see below.

They seem to be made of bakelite.

Are they Jowett? If so, and any Club member wants them, they are gratis except for the postage.

Maybe carb spacers/heat insulators of some type???

Thanks Keith for the suggestion. It's probably correct as I've looked on eBay and seen various similar items.

It's obviously not Jowett or we would have known by now.

Check stud and bore holes against any jowett stuff
I dont know if jowetts had such things, but the Bradford did have a plate heat insulator...
The reason I say this, is over decades, often these parts dont get re used...
These spacers and insualtion blocks ..the use was often underestimated.
Both as to higher rpm performance increaseing the phelm size and fuel boiling on carb bowls, after a good run the idle or left turned off..
There was not enough air flow over the carbs, and enough fuel going thru to keep the fuel from boiling....partularly with boiling temps of modern fuels.
