Email and Private messaging

Scott reported that JowettTalk PMs seemed to remain in the outbox rather than moving to the sent box. Indeed this is true. Not only that it seems to get two copies in there. Surprisingly the PMs and emails actually are sent and should be received. I tested that!

The problem seems to have also occurred in Dec 2007.

Note you need to change your profile to allow others to send you emails rather than PMs. As far as I know your email address is not divulged to the recipient or anybody else trying to phish on Jowetttalk. So please enable ' Always show my email address' in your profile.

On my phpbb2 forums the PM goes to the out box, when it is opened by the receipiant it then goes to the sent box.

This somewhat confused me when pretesting my web sites funtitionality

To check stuff I have a dumby member a/c

PS have been getting a heap of "page cant be displayed " in the last week, and when this happens often the auto log on doesnt function next time.

Yes we seem to be having some slow downs again. I just refresh and it always displays.
