steerin wheel

a steering wheel is currently for sale on Ebay.Said to be for javelin or jupiter.It is unlike any i have seen before.Is it in fact for Jowett?

Never seen anything like this on a Jowett, the stylised 'J' looks too modern.
Have posted question to seller to see if he has any history......it's rather nice though.

Got a reply back from seller. Seems a nice guy. Said several people have queried the wheel and he's going to pull the sale off. Still thinks it is from a Jowett , possibly a special. I don't think so.....more likely Jag with that horn ring.

There is interesting chat about this on the oldclassiccar forum. Someone has suggested that it is not a "J" at all but an upside down "F"
