Hopefully some more Jowetts will be there.
I will be taking the prototype or the standard bodied Jup.
The show is Bristol Miniday - now in its 12th year - and we want to add a new dimension by having an extra display of NON-MINI British Classic Cars for 2006. Whether you’re concours condition or well loved daily driver, just come and show your motor in the Moss British Classic Display and you may drive away with a rosette or prize in recognition of your pride and joy.
It's on Sunday 4th June at North Somerset Agricultural Showground, Wraxall, near Nailsea, Bristol and we are offering free entry to British Classic Cars (and their owners!). We need to know who's coming so we can send you your exhibitors pass, so you need to contact us first either by email: info@bristolminiday.co.uk, by phone on 0117 9540045, by fax on 0117 9559559 or in writing to Bristol Miniday, 7-9 Ducie Road Business Park, Lawrence Hill, Bristol, BS5 0DR. All we need to know is your name, registration number and make/model of Car and, of course, your address so we can send you your passes.
Hope you can help to make this a display to remember.
Should you require any further information, please contact us as above.
Best regards

Flying the British flag on a hot summers day.
Hi chaps Yes the sun was out and a hot day it was.
Took the Farina, a senic run past Chew Valley lake to the Moss Bristol Mini Day.
Well what a suprise to see so many class British classics, Alvis Deloren! Ogle Riley Wolesley Rover Austin morris Vauxhall Jowett of course.
No Maxi's though this time.
The selection of minis old and new was somthing to digest, wow what engineering of mods that it seems can attieve with the high BHP.
Great to meet all the folk old and young with so much interest in the cars.
Pleased to see some Jowett folk who i have not seen for a few years with much storys told about Oz included.
The Alvis and the Jupiter as well to our surprise won a monetary award.
The youngsters had plenty of competions to keep them interested in the old cars and to make them future owners hopefully.
One of the laughs was a compition for one of each club to eat 8 cream crakers with just a little water.
The winner was 4 mins the last member came in at 8 1/2 mins.
The Farina ran like a clock and cool homward bound in the hot sunsine.
I really must take the standard body Jup out next.
Will keep you posted on other events that may be of interest.
Regards
Pat.
