When re-fitting the two halves of the frame over the new glass, treat the U-shaped rubber with something like Swarfega, which is a hand cleanser here in England. It is slippy, which makes it easier to slide the frame around the glass.

Make sure that the glass is shaped at the top to allow for the windscreen wiper.

Not in Germany it's true, but I managed to get a replacement laminated glass 'screen for my 1930 Long Four from a local glass company a couple of years back.

They cut it to size and cut away the corners where the screws and brackets for the frame and the wiper motor go, and had it ready next day. It beats me how they cut laminated glass like this!

Cost? Wait for it - - just over £20 INCLUDING VAT!

Can anybody say, for what they are intended?
Was that original?

Correct. That is the spare wheel well. But for the Kestrel.

You have a Falcon, therefore the spare wheel is mounted externally and NOT within a compartment as the photo shows. Therefore you do not have the curved well as shown.

In photo 1 you can see the spare wheel cover. It is part of the body work.

Photo 2 is from the underside, as you have worked out

do you have a few pictures from a falcon, for me? Particulary photos from heck.
In google, there are many pictures, but i haven't the right know how, to see differents between falcon, curlew and kestrel...

I really want to come to you jowett-friends some day, and see and feel your original jowetts!!

You only have the remains of the shock absorber which should be bolted to the chassis and connect to the linkage in the second picture. These should be 'Luvax' type shocks - are any present on your car?
