Well - Behind the scenes work goes on. The section took a stall at a car boot sale in Edinburgh last Sunday and raised over 500 pounds. ( subject to a few small expenses ). Another one planned for the early spring.

Keep the hotel bookings coming in. Rooms are getting short now. Had to request further allocation from the Hydro.

You'll all have seen the four line ditty in the December Jowetteer about the 'Bogle' we are all expected to emulate in Crieff (under pain of instant incineration if we don't).

"ALANE UPON THE FIELD SHE STOOD
THE TATTIE BOGLE TALL AN PROOD
BUT CERTIE SHE WIS SMAIRT AN BRAW,
A BONNIE LASS THO' MADE O' STRAW".

According to the Internet, this is only one of the TEN verses of this annonymous rhyme.

Does anyone know the rest?

And here's me thinking that all scarecrows were male!

Well Done Tony. Keep it going, I certainly enjoy the Jowett theme. We know the original ten verses, however, all in good time. I am sure the Jowetteers enjoy your version.

Jack Kirk & Myself have just spent the whole day at Crieff finalising a lot of points with the Crieff Hydro, The Distillery & the Police. A good day all round. Things are definately coming together for our Crieff Rally.

Still got to get the April Rally report sent to Alan Brierley before I go away on holiday. I will be home on 1st April. See you all in Crieff..

Another successful day for the Scottish Rally Committee.

A fund raising event has put another 600 pounds into the rally fund. We have all been up since 5AM. So an early night calls.
