It would be lovely to see you again at the Rally George, if only for an hour or two. it's some time since we got together.

Re: Jowett Annual Weekend, Wales, June 2012
I am also looking forward to Llandrindod Wells. I have my accommodation sorted as my daughter lives 'just down the road'.
I am not sure I will even now have the Long Four on the road as work is again halted with my wife having been in hosital and now having to attend on a daily basis. Makes life really difficult to get on with any 'repair' work!
If it is not on the road I will probably not bring it on a lorry. Very expensive, and I only did it at Wakefield because I was determined for the car would go to the Centenary Rally, 'by hook or by crook'.
In the event it was 'by lorry', but at least we got there!
Looking forward to renewing old acquainances and making some new ones.
That's what Jowetteering is all about - isn't it?

Ian, if you car is not on the road, you are welcome to get yourself to us in Kings Langley and join our entourage arriving by Jowett, and there will certainly be seats in the car for scenic runs etc if required.
Hopefully your wife will get well soon.
Jack.

Re: Jowett Annual Weekend, Wales, June 2012
You'll have to hum this - "Nearer and nearer draws the time, the time that will surely be, when.....
We'll all be in Wales.
I'm just going over 'Sarah Jane' (1933 'Flying Fox') with a fine toothcomb hoping that 'prevention is better than cure' for my trip down to Llandrindod Wells.
This year it will be only about 320 miles round trip plus the scenic run, so I'm hoping to go down in one day, arriving at the hotel on the Thursday night for dinner.
Others from Yorkshire are stopping Thursday night at a Premier Inn within 80 or so miles of the Rally hotel so that they have an easy run down on the Friday.
So 'gird your loins' and 'Come on Down' for a great weekend.
Tony.

Anybody travelling near this route?
This is likely to be our route on Friday 1st (about 5 hours drive taking it easy). Probably stop in Stratford (Shakespeare country) for lunch.
May also wander off the motorway if the weather is good.
