Invite for 14-15 May to warm up for JAW?

We would like to invite your club to the Rally Show at Cornbury Park, 2011. This is a new venue for the show following 4 years at Chatsworth and is a very exciting location for all of us. The Cornbury event will take place on the 14th and 15th May.

Cornbury is a fabulous estate, located close to the town of Charlbury, 12 miles west of Oxford. Like
Chatsworth it was used as a stage in the RAC Rally in ’97, ’98, ’99.

The site is good with excellent spectator viewing, mainly flat areas for parking and we are extremely pleased to offer the facility of camping for car clubs this year. In fact the camp site is adjacent to the car club area, so we will be able to place you within sight of your cars.

P.S. The Chatsworth event is scheduled for the 8th and 9th October, tickets will be available in March.

Me and Amy probably up for this - a first outing for the Bedford perhaps with the cars in convoy, in easy distance of home for us.

If several members are interested I am happy to give them a call and see if we can get a group rate, but looks like we'll need to do that before 31st Dec.

So will we be taking Lame Rod? You will have to get a co-driver licence as Amy''s navigation is not good on special stages, so suggest she drives!

Wishfull thinking but I doubt if 'Lamerod' will be ready in time - and now that this project is about to head in a quite different direction I think that the title is no longer fitting so maybe we should donate the name to the Bedford and it can now be known as 'Lamerod Lovebus' - with apologies to all who have not got a clue what we are talking about.
