Javelin Motorhome

Is this vehicle known to the club? I seem to remember a small photo being in a magazine some months ago, but I'd not seen it in this detail.

Do we know who made this, how many were made? Is it a one-off?

It is known to the club, but strangley it is built on a Jupiter chassis. So ed Nankivell hast all the details. Yes it is a one off.

I've managed to track down some photos from the show, this is a display board of the rebuild.

Apparently a Bedford Bambi back end. Thoroughly curious. Note the hinged front end - much better engine access than on a Standard Javelin! Dates seem to suggest rebuild between 2000 and 2006, impressive stuff to do that amount of work mating the two together.

If its the same one then I believe that it is in the custody of member Ray Hancock, saw it a couple of years ago at a local event (West Midlands) unfortunately no pic.
