Alloy wheel restoration

Post by Chris Spencer »

I do not have any alloy wheels on any of the classic fleet but we do on the two moderns that we run - I have little doubt that most of us run at least one modern vehicle, most of which today have alloy wheels has standard. My Astra is fitted with 18" factory fitted alloys with low profile tyres (which offer no protection at all to the wheel rims) - My very lovely but somewhat expert at kerbing alloy wheels wife Sharon has managed to kerb every wheel. The front tyres were due for replacement after a little research I found a very good company in Basingstoke who have refurbished all four wheels and supplied 2 new front tyres - they did a fantastic job and at a price that could not be bettered hence they get my recomendation. They undertake refurbs to all alloy wheels including classic split rim alloys. - www.myalloys.co.uk - MyAlloys 01256 329444
