The annual Jowett Car Club Northwest and Midland Section event saw a good turn out of NW section members and cars as well as an appearance from Les and Nancy White, Glenys and Craig Ainge, Jack Moon, Sue and John Powter and Oliver Pointon on site. A special thanks to Jack and Margaret Mitchell Northern Section for making the effort.
The Murder Mystery dinner went down very well.
Read all about it in the next Jowetteer.

Hi Sue,
A huge thanks to the NW Section for the welcome - it was a really good weekend, and a huge success. Particular thanks to Doris Whitney for single-handedly taking charge of my distinctly average attempt at putting up a huge tent I'd never seen before, and to Alastair for lifts on Saturday afternoon. Great to put faces to names and learn some more about the cars, the members, and the North West!
I won't steal your thunder for the next Joweteer article, but with approx 25 cars on Sunday, plenty of people camping over Friday to Sunday and beyond, and plenty to eat and drink throughout I don't think it could have been organised any better and was a really good weekend.
I look forward to the next one, we will see if we can get more of the South-East contingent along!
As a result of the weekend we have now achieved the critical mass required for us to go ahead with The Jowett Car Club Winter Film Festival, news to follow on another thread shortly, along with notice in the Joweteer - Alan will be busy.
Jack.
