Re: Jupiter on ebay
This one sold about 6 months ago for US$1000.00 and had been in Kansas. Are Jupiter values escalating so rapidly?

Re: Jupiter on ebay
Hi Scott - I think rarity is helping and the fact that some owners fancy something a little different - on the whole - classic cars are climbing in value - people outside of the classic car movement see them as better investments and something they can have some fun with - it is not unusual to see VW campers changing hands for £25k + 2 years ago you could have good one for £15k, decent Jaguar E types are £50k + when 2 years ago it would have been half of this, Mk 1 Mini coopers are heading for £25K - again half of this money would get you a very good one 2 years ago and who would have thought that Mk1 Ford Escort RS / Mexicos could change hands for £30 - £40k ?? but they are at present. Most of us care little about the value - it's the car alone that we get our pleasure from however, some of us are going to get priced out of the market if it continues to esculate at this pace.

Re: Jupiter on ebay
I don't think prices are going up quite as fast as the recent history of this car would suggest, according to Scott. It looks more like someone wearing Ebay tinted glasses and trying his luck. I am amused by the rear coil springs. I wonder if they are in addition to torsion bars or instead of? They do not look very sturdy.
