I've found the error. I did this (colon close bracket) in Word, and it converted it to a special character.
Won't be doing that again. Panic over.

Craig also had this problem of getting a SQL ERROR.
Before posting text from a Word document try 'SAVE AS' 'PLAIN TEXT'. This will highlight in red any special characters. Delete them and then you should be able to copy text into the post.
