Sex in a Jowett

Why not tell us about your car (start with a picture) and say what you have done with it; either restoring or using it over the years. Restoration of particular parts is of special interest. Club members can have their space on in their Personal Album to do this.

G'dday From The Ever Sunny South,

Interesting topic that was aired in MotorSport magazine back in the days when it was a proper magazine - not the trendy rubbish it is now.

In MotorSport, "WB' officiated over a series of readers' letters on the subject of 'Love in the Austin Healey-Sprite'. This was most entertaining reading and the one that really stuck with me was the young fellow's line - "Put your feet in the boot Dear, it is warmer."

Then there was the lucky lad who had the use of his father's Rover 3 Litre to go a courting - "Place the gear lever in reverse and you have all the room you need!"

Doing a spot of serious courting at that time, I realized just how lucky I was to be driving a Jupiter! And, it is just as good today!

Have fun,

Mike Allfrey.
