JNR Bideford

Post by PaulB »

Are there any members out there who didn't go?

I am gutted and feel a sense of loss at not being able to attend the 2009 JNR in the Sunny (I hope) South West. This has been the second National which I have missed.

I really wish I had gone now. But there you go, there is know point winging about it now.

I have decided that as soon as the rally forms appear in a future Jowetteer for the BIG ONE! in 2010. I will fill it and send it with the appropriate deposit as soon as possible.

Roll on 2010.

If any body is reading this at JNR2009. I hope you are all having a great and fun packed week-end.

Cheers

Hello Paul.

Don't be too despondent, I'm still at home too :( My "penny jar" was not quite full enough to buy the air fares.

I too wish the gathered JCC members a great time and hope the weather's being kind . . .

Regards to all.

Thanks Leo,

I guess it would be a bit expensive to travel half way around the world to attend the JNR.

I'll definitely go to next years rally because it will be 100 years of Jowetts. So this rally should be a big one.

Cheers.

Just returned,

It was excellant, so I won't rub it in. Other than to say several people enquired as to the Brierlys whereabouts and Your dad was quoted in one of the speeches.

Weather fantastic.
Compliments of the Season,

I am most gratified that you all had a wonderful National.

I was so depressed at not being with you on Saturday. I booked my place in Lincoln in October. So at least that is one consolation.

And as soon as there out I WILL book for next years rally.

I will pass on the bit about Dad and the missing Brierleys.

Paul, Alastair,
It has been a wonderful event. The South West section has pulled off a cracker. Great weather , and guess what, the weather broke on Monday evening. Even on the Monday at 7pm thje bar is still full of Jowett folk taking full aadvantage of the Devon welcome. Leaving tomorrow after a FAB event.
