Champion Spark Plugs

Post by PaulB »

Hi Guy's,

I really need to replace my old Champion Spark Plugs on my 8hp Jowett.

Can I buy them from Jowett Car Spares?

The plugs I require are 2X Champion D16.

Thanks Paul,

If they don't stock them, then I'll try the link you gave me. Or I'll buy them direct from Champions UK web site.

Hi Paul,

Have you tried your local motor shop? As when i needed new plugs for my jowett engine, my local motor shop was very helpful, managed to go through old catalogues to find the plug or the equiqivelent plug from the modern part numbers. I'm 99% sure I can get hold of a set so if you let me know I'll send you up some. Are you going to the national?

Thank you for all your kind suggestions.

In the end I went with Paul's suggestion and bought my spark plugs from The Green Spark Plug Co today, whilst at VSCC Oulton Park.

I'll gap and fit them tomorrow.

My thanks go also to Alan, for his offer to get some for me, and bring them with him to the national in a fortnight. Sadly both myself and Mum & Dad are not going this year.

Thanks once again guy's.
