There is a number of Jowetteers, like me who have a rather sketchy grasp of all things computerised.

Just for those like-minded people, and if you own a vintage or pre-war Jowett, then the following link will be of great use.

http://keithclements.co.uk/jowettnet/dt/tech/jti/pw.pdf

Type it into the address box of Google, click GO and when it comes up on the screen right click and select 'Add it to Favourites' so that it'll be always at hand.

Maybe we have a section for ppl to ask general questions about how to do things...
http://keithclements.co.uk/jowettnet/dt/tech/jti/pw.pdf

Type it into the address box of Google, click GO and when it comes up on the screen right click and select 'Add it to Favourites' so t
put the curhat it'll be always at hand.
Typing, most of the newbies ,typling is 1 finger...so to type the address could well have a mistake....

Put the cursor at the end of the address (called a url )line
press the left button and hold down while dragging to the other end of the url and release the button
it is now highlighted
put the curse over the highlight, rright clk an menu appears
choose copy
In the address bar at the top of your browse page
Right clk on the old url...it will highlight...and a menu will appear
Choose paste....this takes the stuff you copied and 'pastes' into the bar
Then hit the Go button at the right end of the address bar

The browser goes to the page
To add to favouties
Simply right clk on an emty part of the page and select 'add to favorites'
u can use the 'make folder' button...name the folder say jowett stuff then hit the ok button

Notice how I mention the right clk?
If u want to do something, or just want to have a play on how to do things
Right clk, right click in a file, a folder, a word, a email, a task bar, and even places where u think noting is there
A menu appears, your can quickly send to places, save, copy , paste, check spelling depends on what you want to do and what u have clked on.
Basically, the right clk and find out is 3 weeks of computer night school lessons

A section for basic questions from cut and paste thru to...do I have turn my computer off, my virus acnner is out of date, I think would be very helpful to many of our members.
My Spelling is Not Incorrect...It's 'Creative'
