If i remember correctly this was built in the late 60's early 70's and was featured a magazine possibly old glory at the time. I have a feeling ;it was also in the jowetteer when david fox was editor.
It used a standard bradford body/chassis with fairly minimal modification - as can be seen in pic even wheels are normal bradford as is steering gear. I can't remember whether it used the jowett clutch & gearbox or whether the steam engine was just coupled directly to the prop shaft as of course a clutch isn't needed.
It has been mentioned from time to time since & may still be around somewhere. has anybody got the original magazine and/or ?jowetteer article.

I had some dealings with this relatively recently. The owner is a steam enthusiast and lives just outside Sutton Coldfield. The steam engine has been removed and he was talking about restoring it as a Bradford van. He was looking for parts, but I suspect that this will never happen. That was a couple of years back and I have not heard more from him since.
