Seeking shock absorbers

Post by James Baxter »

Son Harry and I have almost finished the Sports model and need some shock absorbers to complete the car.
Standard Jowett were ?
Hartford?
Or Smiths diametrical friction as fitted to Morris etc.
prefer old not modern replicas, any condition considered.
Thankyou,

Hi James, I believe Jowett introduced shocks on the Sports model and they were smiths friction type! Sorry I can't offer a lead to original ones, but Beaulieu is coming up! Pleased to hear the car is getting there!
