Hi. Keith.
I've been up and down the JowettTalk sections, and I don't seem to be able to see the Remembrance Section.
I was about to update it but couldn't find it.

Re: Remembrance section missing?
Hi Tony,
Please check again. I think the problem was caused by me reorganising forum permissions. phpbb has complex permission facilities that allow permission to be assigned based on the forums and/or by user roles. The 'Remembrance' forum was missed out when I assigned permissons to forums that are exclusive to club members.
I have now reduced access to BOTs that were eating up computer time on the server. Search BOTS now have very little access.
Guests too have lost access to some forums as they too were abusing the site, so those not logging on may well find they no longer have access to areas that previously they had access.
Registered users too may have lost some access to some areas, so it becomes more important to make sure your JT email address agrees with that in the club membership list.
There may still be some issues with Newly Registered Users who are club members who cannot access club member areas, but I hope not. I will have to figure out a way of testing!
Thanks again for alerting me.
I have noticed some interruption in service recently, but finding out what is causing it is proving difficult. I recently gave the Google Cloud machine more resources just in case it was running out of them when jowett.net was hit by a lot of requests. But I suspect it may be the Virtual machine server throttling the network and trying to share its resources between the hundred of VMs running on it when it is overloaded. Of course it may be Comrade Putin.
