Re: Goodwood Revival 2024
It was Wet, Wet, Wet so the decision not to take my Jupiter was a good one.
Weather proving of Amy's SC was successful with much reduced leakage. My tent could have done with similar attention as many drips occured inside it over the 4 days.
Some issues with fuses on Javelin and a new battery was required on the SC . The sticking throttle pedal on the Javelin was solved by adding another return spring. The cut off switch on the Jav also had to be bypassed. That is the second time that has been required at the event. Those cheap switches are unreliable.
Amy with her Goodwood hair styling done at the Kennels. A muddy Jav that made it up the Lavant bank carrying three large Norwegians just I time for the St Mary's salmon car race. On return we put the SC on the lift to investigate noises. Exhaust pipe knocks caused by the poor roads, the stud on the clutch housing was hitting the chassis so it was cut off and possibly the Panhard rod hitting the battery box, and possibly the exhaust hitting the front Valence. More importantly a new midship bearing and layrub are required.

Re: Goodwood Revival 2024
We met up with Jaak Jacobs and Bunty Condon at the Partridge Inn on Friday evening for dinner. I had found this pub close to the circuit where they could both park their vans overnight.
Scott, Amy and I met up with Jaak there again on Saturday evening.

Our Jowett 10 taking a well earned rest in-between taxi shifts .Only problem over the weekend was a flooding carb which occurred when stuck in traffic .I have now acquired a carb repair kit to sort this out
