Ian Aitken Kemp has had an issue updating his Personal Album. This is partially fixed as detailed in viewtopic.php?p=48541#p48541
If anyone else wants to update their personal album or if others would like to create a Personal Album to organise their experiences with Jowetts into one place then please respond to this post.
If their is sufficient interest then I can try to finish the migration that was done in 2019 and also add more features to make your albums easier to use.

Re: Personal Albums
Tony,
That reference you gave, starting 'gid', was so that a link was made to the old Gallery which is now no longer accessible.
This was just in case I needed to sort out an issue.
Are you saying that when you now go to Personal albums/ Ian Aitken/Ian'sCars and then to one of his car registration topics that you do not see pictures?
E.g.
viewtopic.php?p=31232#p31232

Re: Personal Albums
Hello again Keith.
I clicked Personal Albums/Ian Aitken-Kemp/Topics to get the g_id thing. If I click on Ian's cars instead of Topics the photos come up.
Tony.

Re: Personal Albums
Ah yes, well that is because the album "Ian Aitken" did not have any pictures in it in the Gallery but only an album named "Ian Aitken's Cars".
So the post in the topic was a reference to the album which contained the sub-album.
Every Gallery album was recreated in JT with this reference post as the first post in the created topic. What would follow in the topic would be anything contained in the album which in this case were not pictures but a sub-album.
Since, in JT, topics cannot contain topics, the album Ian Aitken's Cars was created in JT as a forum which can contain the numerous sub-albums of cars in their own topics.
Simples really!
This cross referencing has been useful over the years to resolve broken links when people have referenced items in the Gallery which are no longer accessible. The broken URL reference will contain the gid number so a search in JT using that gid number is able to find the missing picture and the reference can be upadted with the JT URL.
The programming involved was quite a challenge but I thought necessary so we did not loose our heritage.
