Getting the 3 Jowett's ready
Since returning from NZ and Aus I have had to check out and exercise Amy's Javelin and Jupiter and my Jupiter.
They were all on axle stands for their long lay up so we're started on them so as to check that engine and brake functioned correctly.
They were then taken for some exercise.
No problem with the Jav but Amy's Jup had a locked clutch plate and sticking brake and leaking water pump. These were quickly sorted except on the test run we seemed to run out of petrol. The spare can was emptied and everything seemed OK till the next day when the same happened twice. This time the fuel pump was sticking and a well placed thump started it again.
However back at the garage the pump was checked out and a dodgy wire was replaced, the points were stoned and the plastic electric knob was replaced by a 2BA nut.
I also noticed a leak around the petrol sender, so this has been out today and the gaskets replaced. Much easier to do on the SC than the Jav or SA!

At the rally
Just a few pictures.
Lauren having a run after the long drive having arrived at the hoptel. Then having some fur treatment with a newly purchased scraper that Amy bought at the Farm Shop.
The very muddy rally field but a good location close to the lake.
A wet to very wet scenic run up the Elan valley that I have travelled a few times on Le Jog winter rally. The Jav, SA and SC all won concourse prizes and I received my 50 Years of membership Award, so a succesful Clements family event.
