Looks like a great International JCCA Rally - a good venue, thanks to Tim and Janet for all the work put in.

Today we travelled to Morgan to cross the Murray by ferry. Then to Joe and Christine Caudo to have a look at the Wilie F1 car amongst others and were served of lots of good snacks and some wine.
Then on to Waikerie for lunch and a very interesting visit to the Machinery Museum and another ferry.

Long drive from Barmera to Horsham to Peter and Lorraine Ryan via Servicetown railway station. Yet another example of Australia being 7 states not one country. They had a station built on a disputed border to swap trains on two different gauges. There was even a customs post charging entry into Victoria.

After an evening listening to Bruce Springsteen and a few glasses of wine plus some Galway port we planned a delayed start to my trip to Melbourne allowing me to drive the XJS and the Model T plus a trip to the Stick Shed and Machinery Museum where we had a personal guide tour. We also saw some of the silo art.
I hit Melbourne at rush hour but successfully found my guest house. Careful packing has been needed to reach 30kg. I also picked a few oranges at Peter's.

Have a good flight home.

You were lucky while you stayed here, the hot water unit failed spectacularly and flooded the car port area two days ago! New unit being installed tomorrow.

We trust you enjoyed the Australian leg of your journey in the Southern Hemisphere. Thank you for sharing your photos with all of us.

When I got to Peter Riley's he was without water. The paddock had to be dug up to fix. It took many hours but we did not have to move house to have a shower!

I have savoured the amex airport lounges of Melbourne, Auckland and now LAX. In LAX I have had a most welcome shower, tasted again their superb Bloody Mary and just asked for an Amaretto but did not expect a tumbler full.

Must make sure I do not miss boarding.

I might have met Scott and James here but Scott thought I was coming tomorrow. So I have had a few hours to kill and talked to Scott for half hour.

LAX is by far the worst airport to transit. It took nearly two hours to clear immigration (why you might ask since I am not staying) and collect luggage and put it on the conveyor for the next flight even though it was ticketed through to London. Then another hour to get through departure security before finally getting to the lounge. Shower was most welcome after 24 hrs travel. Perhaps be home by 16:00 tomorrow and the out for a curry with my jazz mates.

Well Heathrow did not disappoint. All the immigration e gates had died but at least the queue was short for the personal ones. But then had to wait at the baggage belt for over two hours before BA eventually found my bag sitting at the wrong carousel.
No jet lag so went out for a curry with my jazz friends and Amy.

A little gardening to do!
