Yes you need to register and perhaps you find that a bit complicated, but once that is done you can then use your Google account to log into JT by clicking the Google button on the login page of JT.
But you do need to allow that facility in your JT profile by going to Manage external account associations.
Do this by clicking on User Control Panel in the menu that drops down when you mouse over your name in the top right. Then chose the Profile tab, and then the Manage external account associations panel.
You will then see this in the address bar of JT .
jowett.net/ JowettTalk /User Control Panel /Profile/ Manage external account associations
Where you click on the Link button to create your Google link. JT will send you to Google to identify which account on Google to use (if you have more than one Google account linked to your browser on the device you are using). This account will remember the link and send an authorization token to JT.
You see that JT has remembered a token that it will send to Google the next time you click the Google login button.
When you next go to the JT Login page and click the Google button, you should be taken directly to the JT home page. Google may ask you which account you want to use if you have more than one Google account linked to your browser on the device you are using. If you click on the account to use , you will enter the Homepage of JT. Voila!
Subsequent clicks on the Google button on the login page may require a one click login (or possibly two if you have more than one account) and you do not have to remember any credentials.
