50 years ago a friend claimed the best race he had in his Jupiter was against a Mini through the Yorkshire country side.
Said the mini could hang on until the hills , where the Jupiter would leave it.
Scott Renner once mentioned that the best races he had was against early Porsches.
Does anyone else have comparison ? How did Jupiters fair against contempory MG's? Singer?

Our Jup beat an MGA 10 years younger in 1988 Pirelli Marathon.

In my bradford days , the only thing I could beat in a race were fordsons. These were knicknaned high reving snails,
