Pre-war clutch slip and Fuller's earth powder.

Post by Tony Fearn »

Older Jowetteers will know of the efficacious action of Fuller's earth powder on the oily internals of the pre-war flywheel if clutch slip is experienced due to the oil.

I still have a little bag of it in 'Mary Ellen', and needed some more to keep in 'Sarah Jane's' glove box, just in case.

I found it hard to come by in local chemist shops, but there's a place selling fishing tackle in Yeadon near Leeds which offers 100g pots of it.

So I've detailed the web address below as a matter of interest.

They post world-wide.

I believe that John Atack has a supply of the stuff too! If you cross his palm with the requisite amount of silver he will supply!
