Older Jowetteers will know of the efficacious action of Fuller's earth powder on the oily internals of the pre-war flywheel if clutch slip is experienced due to the oil.
I still have a little bag of it in 'Mary Ellen', and needed some more to keep in 'Sarah Jane's' glove box, just in case.
I found it hard to come by in local chemist shops, but there's a place selling fishing tackle in Yeadon near Leeds which offers 100g pots of it.
So I've detailed the web address below as a matter of interest.
