Cars for Sale
Having just agreed the sale of my current classic I am now in a position to look for the Jowett Javelin I've been promising myself for the last 20 years! Any suggestions of where to look would be a great help.

Local to me in December
1953 Javelin de Luxe. Ill health forces me to sell my Javelin, it cost me £7k to purchase and
I`ve spent a further £2.500 having the engine sorted, (new exhaust valves, gaskets etc) and
completely re-wired by professionals. The SU mechanical fuel pump has been replaced with a
modern electric unit and the dynamo has been replaced with an alternator, both to improve
reliability. (Original dynamo and SU pump included in sale.) The interior carpets and rear seat
lower squab are currently out of the car, simply to make the rewiring easier. The body is sound,
no rust as far as I can see though it would benefit from a good polish, but then again, who
wouldn`t? I`d like to regain my original purchase price of £7000 please.

Welcome to the Club Bob,
Shall we see you at Stratford-on-Avon in May?
There'll be numerous Javelins to examine.
Tony.
