Did the Jowett factory have its own team racing colours?
The only surviving racing Jupiter seems to be blue.
Back in the day, there were national colours, with green Britain , Blue France any idea why the le mans Jupiter is blue?

Which Le Mans Jupiter do you mean? I think there were 6 in the 50s and at least 3 since.
Pete and Dennis would have decided on the colour of their R1 when they totally rebuilt it. Marcel Becquart ran the Jup in blue because he was French. 1951 HAK 365, 1952 HKW49,
Richard Gane's Le Mans racing car is blue to keep the French scrutineers happy and he likes the colour.
