Many years ago I saw a frame that was put on a trolley jack to remove & replace Javelin engines.
Does anyone have a pattern for that?

If it is of any help, I used to use a modified skateboard.
I think that skateboards are rarer that Javelins these days!

I will post a pic tomorrow. It is a spigot ( shaft ) that fits into the trolley jack hole with the cruciform pad ( that normally supports what you are lifting ) removed.
This pad is replaced by a plate with two supports, a concave one that supports the flywheel ( with the clutch cover removed) and a flat one that supports the sump.
There may well already be a picture on here or in the archive.
