Has anyone got a distributor or magneto that is correct for a 1929 early engine? Also, has anyone had any luck getting a radiator made up as a replacement? Any and all help appreciated.

I used CPA Radiators in Grantham. It was a few years ago, but at the time, they were the only people who didn't have about 4 months turn around and were the cheapest too Nice job and still leak free!

Is the engine destined for a car? If so, I think you need the dynamo with distributor drive. If you go with a magneto, you won't have battery charging

Barry, it is for a car but mainly only for short use. I’m planning on putting the engine in a trials special. I’m not really looking for battery charging as a reasonable battery will handle the lights and fuel pump for easily a weekend I’d have thought (minimal lights use).
I’m happy to go with either, but getting hold of something seems to be the problem?!
Best
Tim
