Early Sports pictures

Post by James Baxter »

"If Satisfied Shout, if not Please come back"
Was this written outside the works, or outside a Jowett agent?
I am trying to post a picture of a Sports Jowett.......

Hello James.
I haven't heard this advertising slogan, but others out there may be able to help.

I have a scan of a Jowett sports model, which is ready for the road.

Thanks Chaps!
Those are great. So there is the horizontal chisel tale, and more conventional vertical like Victoria Worseley.
Then there is the Joe Hepworth stubby point.

This is Joe Hepworth, in his other mount. Not KW2552
I find this really good looking. I would like to find more images of this car....
Joe Hepworth in one car and George his brother in the Beardmore. Where was the picture taken, it sounds just like a Jowett slogan.

Thanks chaps. Ken i reckon your Sports is the best one yet. Dick Preston did a great job on that body. The John Box car was a vertical tail, more like WS Canney and Victoria Worseley.

James, have a look at the Amilcar that's just appeared on prewarcar. That rear end looks very much like the Hepworth car. Would look fantastic on your boy's Jowett!
