Please can anyone specify what should sit on this mounting plate?? Does it suggest s distributor or magneto. Were the mounting plates different if it was an overseas ‘mag’ engine?
It seems that information on earlier cars is thin on the ground.
The next question would be, does anyone have one for sale, or know where I can get one?
Additionally, if not an original, has anyone had success using any other delivery system, such as another mag or distributor for say an earlier motorcycle?
I’d appreciate any help anyone can offer.

The dynamo / distributor arrangement sits above the engine crankcase in that position and is driven has detailed in the images - No doubt the good folk at Jowett Car Spares can help you out here and supply the parts although they will be used / second hand stock - However, With JCS being run / funded by the members of the club - you must be a member of the Jowett Car Club in order to purchase spares / parts from them
