Preparing the Jav for underbody protection , I noticed what must have been the fixings for a boot to concertina over the spare wheel compressor

Looks like the carrier hits the handbrake mechanism, maybe it is because I have expanded to take radial tyres.

Vacuum out the bits inside the chassis .

Yes, somewhere in the loft I have the dust excluder. Just a thin ring of rubber perhaps an inch tall.

The original looks like it was fixed with fabric type rivets.
