Like most of us, I keep an eye on ebay for likely Jowett bits. I therefore noticed someone selling a selection of old logbooks, including one for a Javelin. The interesting part (for me at least) was that the logbook records a change in engine capacity from 1486cc to 2040cc, indicating a re-engine-ing of the car. Can anyone suggest a likely engine candidate with this specific capacity?

On a related topic, I have heard about a Javelin-engined Morris Minor being raced in the 50's which apparently went very well. Does anyone have further details of that one?
