I'm looking for a pair of Jupiter rear bumpers for my SA.
I'm lead to believe a few were reproduced some years ago and a forming die was made.
Does anybody have a pair of bumpers for sale or does the club have these dies as I may be able to get some more made if they are available.

Re: Jupiter rear bumpers
I have a few pairs but they belong to future restoration cars - you are quite welcome to loan a pair for pattern should you wish - its the first time that I have heard of a forming die being held by the club but I can make further enquiries - should you have to get a pair made then its probably best that we advertise the fact and see if any other members are short of a pair therefore hopefully reducing the production costs - Chris

Hi Chris.
Many thanks for reply and the generous offer.
From the enquiries I've made it would seem that a few owners would be intending new bumpers so it may be worth making more enquiries about getting them made uf you can please.
If no luck I'd like to borrow a pair if that's ok and make a pair.
Regards
Michael

Re: Jupiter rear bumpers
The Jupiter Owners Auto Club are currently having them remade. If you contact them and join, if you are not a member, they are currently taking orders for a batch of bumpers. Why bother trying to reinvent the wheel!

Maybe J.C.C Spares and J.O.A.C could let each other know what's in the pipeline for re-makes.Bronteboxer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 05, 2021 10:15 amThe Jupiter Owners Auto Club are currently having them remade.
This may save duplication and add to requirements, especially as we are affiliated Clubs.
The more the merrier, (and cheaper).
Perhaps we could have a designated person in each Club to network on spares.
Tony.

Tony - I can assure you that this already happens directly between JCC & JOAC (and has done for some time) - likewise with AUS & NZ
