My wife Val and I have just today returned home from a brilliantly organised National Rally held in "sunny" Napier.
What a fantastic long weekend it was and try as it may the variable weather was not able to spoil it one iota . . . . the weather in Napier was sunny, cloudy, showery, warm, cold and windy in various combinations . . but then, I only had the Jupiter's top up 3 times so it was not too bad!
I won't go onto the details of the program and events and the results at this time as they will be published elsewhere, but I'm certain all that were there would not object to me saying, "I'd like to "Globally" congratulate the Auckland Branch Rally Committee and their helpers on a truly memorable four day weekend of Jowetting".
Special thanks go to you, Lorna Johns, Alan Stanley, Ken Brownlie and John Wolf.
Wonderful stuff . . . . and thanks for coming to visit, you overseas visitors. I for one enjoyed what little time I was able to spend chatting with you.
