I have a shed aka garage aka mancave aka workshop that is not being used much these days but I am hoping to get down there soon and start work on the many jobs that need doing.
There is the Javelin engine that was rusted up that needs testing.
There is the Aston Martin that needs its bottom wiped and Dinitrolled.
There are a couple of Jupiter engines that need building.
So I thought as lock down, social distancing and other covid precutions preclude a physical meet (for probably the next six months or more) perhaps a Zoom technical meeting would get us together.
Do you have a Jowett task that would benefit from a bit of technical advice conducted over a Zoom meeting?
If so, why not set up a meeting and I am sure we can find a few to participate.

Re: Jowett Technical Days 2021
Dear Keith,
I think that would be excellent.
The Jowett engine tear-down and rebuild would be extremely useful and we could video it on Zoom without trouble.
I can supply the account.
All best wishes
Andy

Re: Jowett Technical Days 2021
I was thinking more of something like a Gardeners Question Time where participants bring along a Jowett issue and get the views of others.
I take a few weeks to do an engine strip down and rebuild so not great Zoom watching! We do not want to be locked into a meeting for hours.
Can we think of issues which need the views of others, that are not answered in the archive of JowettTalk, and would benefit from input from a few knowledgable people? There may be issues which have been discussed on JT that perhaps need a bit more airing.
To be effective each issue would need preparation, presentation or demonstration by the person asking the question, and perhaps some prior knowledge for the experts and audience so that the issue can be meaningfully discussed.
Are there any spares issues that would benefit from a global discussion?
There are some Jowett owners who have no locally knowledgeable people to come and view their problem, especially those in lockdown.
A non starting Jowett?
A gearbox that won't come apart.
A noise that needs identifying.
Electrical issues.
If this becomes a regular thing it could become a Jowett Clinic.
