CAR COVERS

Post by Tony Fearn »

Somewhere there's been a discussion about car covers on JowettTalk. Perhaps regarding Jupiters.
A few months ago I bought two car covers for the pre-wars from Lidl, and was very pleased with them for the price.

They are coming into stock again, so here's the advert for interest, especially as winter is approaching.
I'm sure one of the sizes will fit your own Jowett whatever the body type.

Hate to spoil a party but gents I would go check if the said covers are fire retardant - a fellow club member had an expensive Jaguar written off and very nearly lost his residential property that the garage was attached to when a car cover caught fire from a spark caused by a automatic battery charger - upon hearing of this incident I checked my own covers and what else was available in the market to disappointingly find that virtually all car covers in the UK market are highly flammable

Your right Chris the cover looks like it would burn nicely, but it will keep the dust and spider poo at bay. I will remove when working on the car or charging battery so thanks for the heads up.
