Tony,Thanks for comment in Parts section...who are you calling a sap ?
Have been doing major work on the house, hence no activity in garage.
During a lull in work I emptied the Javelin out and found the recovery note from when I last used it and had to come home on a truck cos the brakes had failed coming back from a show in Cheshire...it was August 2004. This and your pictures spurred me on.
Fitted a replacement n/s front wing kindly given to me by Tom Chapman from a breaker. Wing not quite good enough to spend money on having sprayed so I aerosolled it with HyCote acrylic and am quite pleased with the finish until a better wing turns up. Gave the whole front end a good T cut. polished it and fitted all the lights and chrome.
Now it looks like a car again.
Solved the old problem of the cats. Bought a new caravan which is too big to go in the garage, put the Javelin in there and demolished the car port to give parking for the caravan. Easy really.
Keep up the good work, show 'em what us Lancashire lads can do !
