sounds good if he comes sunday I will tell him but think he will know already , its not just the axle its what you see complete wheels etc . not sure what hes building but says wheels are unobtainable ? maybe he needs to ask club again

This is the last time I'll reply on this subject, but will follow the thread if it continues.
If the 'interested party' really is a Jowett Club member, then he would be advised in the first instance to contact Jowett Car Spares Ltd., and receiving the monthly Club magazine, he should know how to do this.
The Spares Department holds a vast stock of parts for all Jowett vehicles, even pre-war wire wheels. The wheels on the 'donkey cart' seem to be past their best, as far as I can see from an enlarged image, and probably wouldn't hold up on a tight corner.
The wheel nuts should be o.k. though, they're made of brass.

looks good and pre war you say , quite a find , I have been going through some of the parts that came with the trailer , im keeping the bike velocette , are these wheels by any chance also Jowett ? I thought m/c first but no front brake and no where to fit a drum so thinking just a stub axle fitment , on 19 inch and a pair , not really my interests . thank you .
