Throttle cable

Post by ajg1722 »

As the rebuild progresses I find I am missing the brass rod end of the throttle cable. I have the nipple and clip for the accelerator pedal end of the business, and it would be dead simple to make the rest. Only problem is I don't have the dimensions A and B as in the attached sketch. Can anyone please help out?

The brass is 62mm long and the overall length from the centre of the clevis pin to the end of the brass is 123mm
I would think a few millimeters either way wouldn't matter.

I have just reread my post and it might be a bit confusing.
Dimension "b" is 62mm and dimension "a" would be about 45mm and the total length of the whole thing from the centre of the clevis pin including the brass bit is 123mm.
Hope that is a bit clearer.

Barry
