Radiator Caps

Post by tonygunton »

Can anyone help? I want to put an expansion tank on the radiator, not a header tank. For this to work I need a modern radiator cap with a vacuum valve to draw the coolant back into the system when it cools down. I have been unable to find a suitable size modern radiator cap as modern ones are much less in diameter. I wonder if an one has found one for a Jowett of if a commercial vehicle equivalent could be found. Rgards, Tony KAS 147

Ian Roxburgh was demonstrating this in the car park at Grantham. Suggest you phone him and let us know his response.
