Hello,
I am a newby to this forum, although a long term flat four fan through VW, Lancia and Subaru and I will be looking for a Javelin after clearing the decks a little when current resto projects are complete.
Back in the late 1940's or early 1950's my uncle, Johnny Marshall, is believed to have been involved in the Monte Carlo Rally in a Javelin. I remember seeeing him preparing the car at the family garage in Shepperton, but no family records exist to prove his involvement and I cannot be sure of the year. As I am doing some research into cars owned or 'campaigned' by the family I would be very grateful for any archive material or info of any sort.
Many thanks,
Tony Marshall
