From 1966 to present, 1930 Long Four Fabric Saloon, Dark Blue / Black.
Taken in a part-repaired state to the 2010 Centenary Rally, returned to a roadworthy state by 2013. - Given Name: Ian

Keith, you have just reminded me . . .
In 1967 as I came towards the end of my apprenticeship as a marine engineer, I needed just a few 'sea days' to earn my qualification, so rather than go on another deep sea voyage - possibly 6 months in those days - I worked on the Newhaven / Dieppe ferries.
You can imagine my surprise to find Dieppe FULL of 'Javelins'!
In 1967 as I came towards the end of my apprenticeship as a marine engineer, I needed just a few 'sea days' to earn my qualification, so rather than go on another deep sea voyage - possibly 6 months in those days - I worked on the Newhaven / Dieppe ferries.
