To return to a previous topic in this forum, you may be amused by this trifle.
Last Sunday I took my Bradford to a local gala and as usual opened the bonnet to enable the knowledgeable and the curious to view the "works". (it helps them not notice that the rest is scruffy!) About lunchtime my works decided that a trip to the baked potato stand was in order and when I returned I was amused to hear one knowledgeable viewer advising his entourage that "this one has a belt driven supercharger", pointing out the DYNAMO! I didn't have the heart to disillusion him, thinking that if the complete lack of any connection to the inlet manifold, the wires and the windscreen sticker proclaiming 19 BHP couldn't convince him then I never would.
