Interesting material on eBay

Has anyone else noticed this on eBay: -

Offered is the workshop manual originally issued with GKW 111, the winner of the 'Index of Thermal Efficiency' prize at the 1950 Le Mans 24 Hour. Also included is a parts manual, and two early MOT certificates.

The car was owned by my Father in the mid 1960's...he tells me that it was, and is, a really rather famous vehicle. A clearout of the garage led to the discovery of these items at the bottom of an old Gladstone bag, along with a lot of memories!

Should anyone happen to know the recent history of the car, Dad would be very keen to hear from them....

Rob Needs clearly did! (See 'Natter').
