Rear Hub Puller hyd/mech.

Post by Tim Neville »

I needed a puller to get the rear hubs off my E0 PB hyd/mech. I had seen one on e-bay recently, but it went to £54! +p&p!
Following an earlier thread (Later rear hub removal tool) in which David Morris mentioned using a standard pipe coupling, I thought I would go down that route. On my earlier type 1 1/4 B.S.P. fits perfectly, I fitted a standard blank drilled through and used a 12mm. nut on threaded rod cut to length. It worked perfectly and both my hubs are now off. Total cost £5.37.
Thanks David!
